From Burnout to Blessing: Prioritizing Mother’s Health

Grace Medical Center, in partnership with Sto. Cristo Gospel Church through its Mother’s Fellowship conducted an inspiring program dedicated to uplifting and caring for 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 in the community. As part of GMC’s support, participants were offered free Random Blood Sugar (RBS) testing along with informative health lectures. The program featured a nutrition lecture by Ms. Roselle Consing, our clinic dietitian, and a talk on the importance of laboratory tests delivered by our Chief Medical Technologist, Ms. Analie Francisco.

To further extend care, a medical mission was also carried out — providing free health services and guidance to mothers, reinforcing the value of preventive healthcare and wellness for themselves and their families. Truly, a meaningful day of learning, care, and community service. 💙

An inspiring and informative session on 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 brought together mothers to learn, share, and grow together. Through expert guidance from 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗝𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗹, participants gained 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 on 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 and learned how to navigate common challenges with confidence.

More than just a lecture, the session offered a safe space for 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 — reinforcing the vital role of 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 in promoting the 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 of both 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱. 💛🍼

In celebration of National Breastfeeding Month, Mother-Baby Friend Hospital Intitiative (MBFHI) Committee of Grace Medical Center and the Human Milk Bank of Novaliches District Hospital joined hands in a successful Milk Letting Activity — a partnership that goes beyond walls to save lives. Together, we honor the generosity of mothers who shared their milk, giving hope and nourishment to newborns in need.

Grace Medical Center is holding a Special Lecture on HIV Awareness for staff, with Dr. Avelaine Claire, Officer-in-Charge of the Infection Prevention and Control Unit, as the distinguished speaker.

The session aims to strengthen knowledge on HIV transmission, prevention, and the fight against stigma, while highlighting the vital role of healthcare workers in patient support and infection control.

This initiative reflects Grace Med’s continuing commitment to education, workplace safety, and compassionate care.

Grace Medical Center participated in the Barangay Bayanihan Caravan: “PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program para Malayo sa Sakit (YAKAP)” held on August 9, 2025, at the City Convention Center. The event aimed to make quality healthcare services more accessible to the community. This meaningful community event aimed to extend comprehensive healthcare services to residents, ensuring that quality medical attention is accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.

Through the YAKAP Program of PhilHealth and Alagang Ate Rida, residents received free reading glasses, random blood sugar tests and eye examinations.

In collaboration with local government units, health agencies, and fellow hospitals within the city, Grace Medical Center is honored to have contributed to bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.
