Emergency Room – Grace Medical Center’s 15 bed Emergency Room is one of the most modern in the region.  Staffed with well-trained ER nurses  and an ER Med (a doctor specifically assigned to the Emergency Room), emergencies are better treated.  Effective triaging practice means that patients are cared for based on the severity of their cases when they arrive at the ER.  There is also an isolation room where patients with suspected infectious or communicable conditions are checked and quarantined.   Immediate and appropriate care is given to all emergency cases  and no patient is denied treatment.  Medical personnel are very aware of the high stress levels in the ER and are trained to handle scared and anxious patients and relatives.
